THINGS TO DO
The Forbidden Corner is a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises created within a four acre garden in the heart of Tupgill Park and the Yorkshire Dales. A tourist visitor attraction unlike anywhere that you have been before, ideal for the adventurers and those young at heart!
The temple of the underworld, the eye of the needle, a huge pyramid made of translucent glass, paths and passages that lead nowhere, extraordinary statues – at every turn there are decisions to make and tricks to avoid. This is a day out with a difference which will challenge and delight adults and children of all ages.
Ideal attraction for a packed lunch with some great scenery to sit and enjoy.
The Corner Café serves freshly cut sandwiches which can also be made to order with various fillings, Scones, Sausage rolls, Yorkshire fruitcake & Wensleydale cheese, biscuits, cakes, ice cream etc and all sorts of hot & cold drinks.

Suitable for all ages. Best for under 13’s.
Forbidden Corner offers many seasonal events throughout the year that tend to focus around scavenger hunts with actors. They also have a Christmas event with Santa’s Grotto.
Bring a packed lunch to enjoy a picnic with a view.
There is very little phone reception here so please consider this before we arrive if you are expecting important phone calls.
