When Will I Get My Pickup Times For My Family Outing?

Timings for our trips will be sent 5 days before departure via the email address you used to book.

If you haven’t received your timings and you are within 5 days please check your spam/junk inbox to see if it is there.

Timings of when we plan to  arrive and depart our destinations will be on all booking pages.

What Are Your Pickup Locations?

Our main pickup locations are:

What is the VIP Club?

The VIP club is for frequent travellers with us.  It has great discounts such as 20% off day trips and 10% off overnight trips.

Can I Pay A Deposit For A Trip/Short Break?


By paying a deposit you secure your place on the trip/short break.

Deposit amounts vary per trip and can be found on the booking page of all trips with this option.

As standard final payment (after deposit) is due within the following time frames:

  • Day Trips – 2 weeks before departure.
  • Overnight Trips – 1 month before departure.

*THE ABOVE IS A GUIDE.  On some occasions the final payment will be due sooner and this will be advertised in the description of the trip/short break.  Deposits are non refundable or transferable.

How Do I Pay A Deposit For A Trip/Short Break?

On all of our trip/short break pages it will be detailed as to whether you can pay a deposit.

If this option is available please select the ‘pay deposit’ tab (see image below)  BEFORE adding your passengers to the cart.

Can I Pay A Trip Off With Multiple (more than 2) Installments?

At the moment our trips are only able to be booked with a deposit & then a final payment through the website.

If you wish to pay a trip in instalments please contact us and we will see what we can do to help and take the order manually (not through the website).

In this situation we would always still require the deposit amount as advertised for the trip/short break you are interested in.

How Do I Pay The Balance Of My Trip/Short Break?

To pay the balance off your booking please:

  • Login to your account and select the ‘Orders’ tab.
  • Scroll down to your the booking you wish to pay and press ‘Make Payment’.
  • Follow the instructions.
What Is The Quickest Way To Get An Answer To A Query?

The quickest way to get a reply to a query is through our Facebook Page ‘Family Outings North East’.  Please find our page by clicking HERE

You can also contact us through the website by clicking ‘contact us’ on our menu bar.  Please note answers from this method of enquiry can take longer than through Facebook but we aim to answer all queries within 5 working days.

Do You Provide Travel Insurance?

We do not sell travel insurance directly but you may find the SunWorld Travel Insurance policies of interest as they provide cover for coach holidays. To visit the site, please click HERE.

Are Your Coach Trips Financially Protected?

Yes, absolutely!

By law, all overnight coach trips must be financially protected.

This means that if Family Outings ever went in to administration your money is still 100% safe.

If a trip must be cancelled by us, your money will be back in your account within 10 working days but usually sooner than this (dependent on your payment method).
