    Experience amazing sights, sounds, smells and delicious tastes as the past comes to life. Beamish is unique - their objects aren't locked away in glass cases, this is hands-on history! Step into the past and explore our 350 acre site, as Beamish tells the story of the people of North East England in the 1820s, 1900s and 1940s. Taste traditional food from a coal-fired range, hop on board a tram or steam train, play schoolyard games together and pop into the Co-op shops.

    • Child (5 - 16 years old) = £24
    • Adult (17+) = £30
    • Senior (60+) = £29
    TRANSPORT ONLY (5+) - £14 Non refundable deposits available at £12 per person with full payment due two weeks before departure.

    NEW 50's town open & Dig For Victory Weekend
    Dig for Victory is the first event in our Great North Festival of Agriculture. The event is focused in and around our 1940s Farm and tells the story of life on the Home Front and the vital support role the British countryside played during the Second World War. The farm will again be buzzing with activity – from gardening to wartime recipes and cooking, Land Girls to lumberjills, make do and mend to military vehicles and a host of hands-on activities – make sure you don’t miss any of them! We’ll have animals, music, machinery and Home Guard plus much more! PRICES:
